HISTORY OF PERFUME OILS BY MAISHA

Dr. Saidi J. Liwaru, our progenitor in the fragrance world, learned the art under fragrance master Bolozi during the early sixties.  In the ensuing years of research and development, Dr. Liwaru has raised the art to a science and has taught four generations of Liwaru.  In 1986, armed with a PhD in psychology, Dr. Liwaru combined his academic knowledge and research with his knowledge of fragrances. He started a perfume, essential oil and incense business with only 27 fragrances. While Dr. Liwaru still plays an important role, the business is now owned by his wife, Maisha.
